Cost-Effective Driving Training
Purpose: To reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by fuel consumption by reducing the amount of fuel consumed per km, without changing the driving comfort, based on the training provided to participants, prevent the consumption of unnecessary natural resources by minimizing energy consumption, reduce fuel-related costs. As cost-effective driving is a training that also supports defensive driving, it also provides participants with defensive driving habits. By proving that operational processes can be completed without driving vehicles fast, a positive contribution is made in terms of driving psychology by reducing time pressures on drivers.
Target: Optimize fuel-related costs by driving the vehicle at the values closest to the catalogue fuel consumption values of the vehicle, demonstrate this saving with numbers. Cause less harm to the environment by reducing emissions caused by greenhouse gases.
Method: After the participants receive approximately 2 hours theoretical training in the classroom, they individually drive in real traffic conditions with the trainer. On a designated route, the participant is allowed to drive with his/her usual driving habits, and the trainer only makes observations. The driver's areas of improvement in terms of cost-effective driving are identified, and the deficiencies identified are notified to the participant. The participant is asked to completes the same route with the cost-effective driving criteria with the guidance of our trainer.
Duration: 2 hours theoretical training and 60 minutes one-to-one driving.
Basic Outcomes for the Participant:
? Understanding the technical specifications of the vehicle used, and experiencing the effects of these technical specifications on cost-effective driving
? Learning to choose the right gear, right engine speed and right speed, which affects cost-effective driving on flat roads, downhill and hill roads
? Optimizing fuel consumption in liters per 100 Km without compromising operational processes and time
Training Output:
? The assessment conducted based on the driving assessment report is published.
? Training certificate awarded to successful participants
? Explaining the improvement areas related to cost-effective driving to the participant by the trainer.
