Heavy Vehicle Rollover Prevention Training (Anti-Rollover)
Purpose: To ensure that the participant performs safe driving in every ride.
Target: To prevent traffic accidents and zero fatality/injury accidents.
Method: It consists of theoretical training and one-on-one driving practice with a tow truck/trailer specially designed for the experience of anti-rollover in a closed area dedicated to training.
Duration: 3 hours theoretical training and approximately 4.5 hours practice depending upon the number of participants.
Basic Outcomes for the Participant
? Learning the driver's own and vehicle's limits, slip and rollover dynamics as a result of the exercises conducted in practical training; consolidating the awareness of defensive driving.
? Experiencing that the vehicle may topple even at low speeds at turns, learning to drive safely without reaching these limits.
? When an unexpected danger is encountered, avoiding the danger by using the steering wheel or slowing down the vehicle by braking and safely avoiding the danger. Having the necessary predictive driving knowledge to avoid such situations.
? Experiencing the differences in terms of the stability of the vehicle on wet and dry roads.
? Learning safe behavior in case the vehicle skids on wet road surface, having the necessary predictive driving knowledge to avoid this skidding.
Training Output:
? Explaining the improvement areas related to safe driving to the participant by the trainer
? Training certificate awarded to successful participants
